World Brain Day 2026: Evidence-based approaches to address cognitive decline at scale
22 July 2026
This World Brain Day, GERI spotlights our implementation research contributions to the ADL+2.0 study, which is testing an AI-assisted digital health intervention for addressing cognitive decline in the community.
Around 152,000 people in Singapore could be living with dementia by 2030. This World Brain Day 2026, GERI spotlights the importance of early detection and evidence-based approaches to preventing cognitive decline and protecting brain health for our older population.
ADL+ 2.0 is an AI-assisted digital intervention aimed at the early detection and prevention of cognitive decline among older adults in the community. GERI is proud to be a collaborator on this nationally-funded study, led by Associate Professor Lim Wee Shiong (Director, Institute of Geriatrics and Active Ageing, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Lead Scientist, GERI).
How does ADL+2.0 aim to address cognitive decline at scale, and how does implementation research create the evidence needed for such healthcare innovations to go the distance? Hear from Associate Professor Lim and the GERI study team in the slideshow below.
