Message from Executive Director
Since its inception in 2015 as a national research institution for geriatric research, GERI has embarked on initiatives and studies that have contributed to the research and service planning of Singapore's health services for older adults.
As part of Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) 2025, local public research agencies will transform and protect human health through population health, preventive health, and good healthcare outcomes at sustainable costs. GERI will continue to ensure our research supports the quest for better health outcomes, putting relevant findings into the hands of practitioners and policy makers.
Our research and evaluation studies will focus on preserving the functional ability of older adults in Singapore. In addition, we will cultivate knowledge translation channels so that together with our collaborators, we can contribute to policies and practices that promote healthy ageing for our population.
