The COVID-19 pandemic is evolving and changing very rapidly as new viral variants emerge. There is huge amount of information surrounding the vaccines and vaccination programmes, some of which are unsubstantiated or unverified. This has caused much confusion and anxiety for healthcare professionals, patients and the public.
The Chapter of Geriatricians launched a Position Statement, entitled “Covid-19 Vaccination for Frail Older Adults” in July 2021. The Chapter, Geriatric Education and Research Institute and Society for Geriatric Medicine Singapore are organising this roundtable discussion as a platform for knowledge exchange and dissemination as well as provide an update on the latest developments in vaccinations in frail older adults.
Event date: 27 November 2021 (Saturday)
Time: 2:00PM – 4:00PM
