The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has opened up opportunities for researchers worldwide to rethink their approach to research and its implementation. Researchers, collaborators and stakeholders are compelled to explore and adapt to a new reality and norm. Well-thought out, creative and novel approaches are critical to maintain research integrity in a fast-changing environment, especially in the areas of remote collaboration, data collection methods, research protocols and knowledge translation.
This symposium, co-organised by the Geriatric Education and Research Institute (GERI) in Singapore and the Knowledge Translation Program (KTP) at Unity Health Toronto, aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and sharing of experiences among researchers and faculty members of both organisations. This closed-door event allows for more in-depth learning to serve our ongoing efforts to build capacity in knowledge translation among researchers.
Do join us to hear from our world-renowned expert, Dr Sharon Straus, and the teams from KTP and GERI as they share the challenges of implementation research and offer possible solutions to address them, amidst the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic
