Dr Gao is a Research Fellow with a background in psychology and social science. He has collaborated with international and local partners across academia, education, government, healthcare, and mining sectors. His work spans caregiving, comprehensive geriatric assessment, COVID-19 vaccination, evidence synthesis, and intrinsic capacity.

Dr Gao is passionate about using research to inform evidence-based decision-making and reduce research waste. He is also deeply interested in reflecting on research practices and methodologies.
