Pirratheep Moorthy is a Research Officer at GERI, where he leads comprehensive evaluations of healthcare interventions for older adults. As Lead Research Officer for a dementia engagement programme, he developed observation scales for clients, coordinated implementation across four day-care centres, and conducted qualitative interviews with thematic analysis to assess intervention effectiveness.
He serves as Co-Lead Research Officer for telehealth and community care apartment evaluations, conducting interviews, analysing data using NVivo and STATA, and co-authoring stakeholder reports. He also facilitates internal research sharing sessions that promote cross-team collaboration at GERI.
Previously at the NUS Department of Sociology, he contributed to COVID-19 pandemic research and supervised junior researchers. He holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) with Distinction in Sociology from NUS. Pirratheep combines expertise in mixed-methods research with strong stakeholder engagement skills across healthcare, academic, and government sectors.
