Silvia Sim
Research Associate
BSc Sociology with Quantitative Research Methods, MBA with specialisation in Sustainability and Governance
Silvia is an interdisciplinary researcher. She integrates insights from her background in sociology and business to understand different stakeholder perspectives and motivations. She draws on her experience from diverse industries, spanning health services research, public policy consulting, and supply chain.
She employs mixed methods to gain comprehensive insights, combining quantitative methods to understand the "what", qualitative methods to uncover the "why" and co-design with stakeholders to work out the "how" that is desirable, implementable and sustainable.
Silvia currently works on health policy research on intrinsic capacity and community-based participatory research (CBPR) that aims to improve the nutrition of isolated seniors by co-designing solutions with isolated seniors and stakeholders in the food supply chain.
