Position Statement on COVID-19 Vaccination for Frail Older Adults

GERI’s Evidence Synthesis Group conducted a rapid review of effectiveness and safety of COVID-19 vaccines for frail older adults.

The findings informed the development of a position statement by the Chapter of Geriatricians, combining evidence-based insights with consensus from geriatric medicine specialists.

It provided a clear, evidence-informed guidance on COVID-19 vaccination for frail older adults, addressing both safety and effectiveness and served as a practical reference for clinicians and healthcare decision-makers.
