Key Findings
Exercise programmes using minimal equipment can improve health and function in adults with dementia.
Significant improvements were observed in cognitive function, physical performance, ability to perform activities of daily living, and quality of life.
Minimal equipment exercise interventions are not effective in improving either behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia or caregivers’ burden.
