Objective

Community nursing as a nursing specialty is being developed to meet the shift towards care in the community setting. A compehensive course in community nursing is piloted. This study seeks to evaluate the course and, therefore, aims to:

Assess the effectiveness of a community nurse training programme in improving knowledge, skills, attitudes, and confidence and
To explore participants' satisfaction of the training programme and their ability to translate acquired knowledge and skills into practice through qualitative in-depth interviews.
