A Mixed Methods Evaluation of the Effectiveness of a Community Nurse Training Programme in Singapore

Objective
Community nursing as a nursing specialty is being developed to meet the shift towards care in the community setting. A compehensive course in community nursing is piloted. This study seeks to evaluate the course and, therefore, aims to:
- Assess the effectiveness of a community nurse training programme in improving knowledge, skills, attitudes, and confidence and 
- To explore participants' satisfaction of the training programme and their ability to translate acquired knowledge and skills into practice through qualitative in-depth interviews.
