Feasibility of a Community-based Functional Power Training Program for Frail Older Adults
Completed
Objective
We conducted a feasibility pilot functional power training program for frail older adults in the community. Frail older adults can be screened and recruited by community providers into the program. The program can be delivered by community providers such as the senior activity centres and has the potential to improve function and reverse frailty status (Clin Interv Aging. 13:309-16, 2018). Randomized controlled studies of implementation research is being planned with senior activity centres.
